 Welcome to the Melton Public Library!

 

Hours of operation are as follows:

 

Monday 9:00 a.m-5:00 p.m.

Tuesday 9:00 a.m-6:00 p.m

Wednesday: Closed

Thursday: 9:00 a.m- 6:00 p.m

Friday : 9:00 a.m-5:00 p.m

Saturday: 10:00 a.m-2:00 p.m

Sunday : Closed

 

As a reminder: When Springs Valley Schools are cancelled due to the weather,

Melton Library is also closed.

 

 

Temporary Change of Hours

 

Beginning July 6th, anyone entering the Melton Public Library will be required to wear a mask while they are in the library.

 

The Melton Public Library is taking proactive measures to safeguard our patrons, our community and our staff.  We are mindful of the concerns surrounding the coronavirus and we want everyone to remain healthy.

 

As stated by Governor Holcomb:  “Mask Up Hoosiers” This is a time when we must do all we can to reduce the spread of COVID-19, protect our most vulnerable populations and reduce their potential to acquire or spread this virus.”

9:00 – 3:00 All Patrons 

 

* No More than 10 people upstairs and 10 people downstairs at one time.

* Limit of five books & five DVD’s per card

The Melton Public Library is requesting that patrons

   who are feeling unwell, please contact us via phone

   for service.  For these patrons we can still offer 

   curbside service.

   We are available 9:00 – 3:30.

* Hand sanitizer is available for patron and staff use.

* While in the Melton Public Library we ask that you

   maintain your 6 feet social distance from other 

   people in the library.

* Public Computers are spread out by removal of 

   computers/seats in an attempt to maintain good

   physical distance as much as possible and the unit being

   wiped down between each use.  Computers will also

   only be used for important business; unemployment,

   job application, food assistance, cash assistance, health

  assistance, etc.

 

A reminder that Overdrive and Hoopla, our digital download sites are available for library patrons to access digital eBooks, audiobooks, movies and magazines.
